Deaf Access to Communications (DAC)

Deaf Access to Communications
Modern communication networks allow people to connect with each other and with organisations in many ways, whether it is over the telephone, the Internet or TV and Radio. We use a wide variety of devices at home and work to make these connections.

How we use technology to connect with each other has changed rapidly in recent decades and will undoubtedly change again.

Through Deaf Access to Communications, UKCoD and TAG have taken the opportunity to join forces and work together on the campaign for modernised relay services and on the review of the Communications Act.

If you:

  • Want to improve deaf people’s access to the telephone network
  • Have difficulty accessing the telephone or broadcasts
  • Want to tell us about the services that do enable you to communicate with others
  • Would like to stay in touch with the work that Government, Ofcom, Industry and campaigners are doing

Then please sign up now to stay in touch with DAC:

  • *required information.

UKCoD will hold records of your name and email address in order to keep you in touch with DAC’s work. We will not disclose your details to any third party without your consent. If you want to update your details or remove them, then please contact UKCoD.
